John Carroll (aka TresCoach) is a retired business exec, best-selling author, blogger, educator and encourager.
During his distinguished 30+ year corporate career, John held executive positions in Fortune 1000, mid-size and emerging companies, leading high-performing business divisions that generated more than $1 billion in sales.
Throughout his professional career, John has received numerous awards and been recognized multiple years by Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals, and the Global Registry of Outstanding Professionals & Entrepreneurs, for his sales and leadership accomplishments. He was also named one of the Top 100 Leadership Experts to follow on Twitter.
Since 2003, John has successfully launched three companies which includes Tres Coaching Services™, his professional coaching practice. He has worked with hundreds of business leaders to dramatically improve the growth, profitability and performance of their businesses. Delivering Professional Coaching, the Business Leaders Forum℠ mastermind program, and his online course ‘Discover YOUR Formula for Success’.
Prior to starting his professional coaching practice in September 2009, John began to actively write. His first book, GLOBALIZATION: America’s Leadership Challenge Ahead, was published in early 2012. He has now authored or co-authored four books, including his most recent release, 15 Things You Should Know.
In addition to his books, John has written 200+ articles for various publications, including his own blog, TresCoach Blog™. The bulk of his writing focuses on business, leadership and global societal challenges that are top-of-mind for most adult readers today.
John is a native of the Kansas City area and currently resides in Keller, Texas. He is the proud father and grandfather of three adult children and three grandchildren. John enjoys his family time, striped bass fishing, long walks, yoga, and shooting zombies at the gun range.
